
Professor Kerstin Thurow, Ph.D.
Kerstin Thurow received her Ph.D. in Organometalic Chemistry from the LMU Munich in 1995, and a habilitation in Measuring and Control in 1999. In 1999, Dr. Thurow was appointed as a professor at The University of Rostock, and obtained a novel professorship for "Life Science Automation." Currently, Dr. Thurow is the president of the Center for Life Science Automation (CELISCA) and founding member of the Academy of Science Hamburg. She is also the co-author of the Journal of the Association for Laboratory Automation's popular Literature Highlights Column.
