Dave Dorsett, MBA

Dave Dorsett serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Symyx Technologies Software division, where he divides his time between both the business and technical aspects. Despite (or because of) a professional career of 20+ years in R&D informatics, he still believes that there's a long way to go before the full potential of informatics are realized in chemical and pharmaceutical R&D. Dave's ALA mission is to bring a strong informatics component to all of the ALA activities, from education to conferences.
