LabAutomation2009 featured the world's largest exhibition on laboratory automation with 425 booths on the exhibit floor showcasing technologies from 250 multi-national companies, including 45 first-time LabAutomation exhibitors, and featured more than 25 new product launches.

   


FIRST returns in partnership with ALA for LabAutomation2009. This year FIRST features Team Spyder from Poway, California and the Tehachapi Cyber Penguins from Tehachapi, California.


The LabAutomation2009 Opening Night Launch Celebration, sponsored by Agilent Technologies, kick-started the conference with the uplifting beats of the legendary California band Papa Doo Run Run.

   


Innovation and Achievement Abound at LabAutomation2009

$10,000 ALA Innovation Award winner

Hyongsok (Tom) Soh, Ph.D., University of California, Santa Barbara, was honored for his podium presentation, "High Performance Magnetic Separation in Microfluidic Channels."


In its third year, ALA's New Product Award (NPA) Designation recognized the top three outstanding new products showcased at LabAutomation2009:
