FIRST Partners with ALA for LabAutomation2008
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire an appreciation of science and technology in young people. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multi-national experience that helps young scientists see the value of education and careers in science, technology, engineering and math. ALA is proud to partner with FIRST this year at LabAutomation2008 and feature Team Holy Cows from High Tech High, San Diego, CA., and Team Eagle Engineering from Chaminade College Preparatory, West Hills, CA. Be sure to visit these outstanding young scientists as they display their winning robots near the ALA Member Center in the Exhibit Hall.
