Abstract Policies

The curriculum for the LabAutomation2008 conference and short courses is peer reviewed and exclusively focused as a scientific educational conference, in keeping with the organizational non-profit status and mission. Podium and poster presentations are not commercial forums unless specifically approved and designated as such. Individuals should refrain from the use of brand names and specific product endorsement whenever possible. We also expect that all presentations are presented with the professionalism and decorum befitting a world-class scientific program that attracts attendees from diverse backgrounds, countries and professions.

All authors understand that the presentation title, abstract and author contact information will be published online at labautomation.org and in the printed Final Program.

By submitting an abstract for review or in response to an invitation, you agree to these guidelines.

Those authors whose abstracts are accepted are responsible for their own travel, lodging and conference registration expenses. Waiver of registration fees will be considered upon request for those requiring financial assistance. Contact Brenda Dreier at bdreier@labautomation.org for the Financial Assistance Form. All poster presenters must be registered as full conference, unless you are academic, government or an exhibitor.
